Manifold Valve

Manifold valves are installed beneath pressure measuring instruments (pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, and pressure switches). Their main function is to allow the isolation and removal of the instrument for maintenance or replacement without shutting down the line.

These valves should only be connected to the line as a branch, because their passage is very narrow and cannot allow the main line fluid to flow in series. They are solely intended to transmit pressure to the measuring instrument.
