Warning level reliability and control Liquids and Solids
One common method for measuring and controlling liquid levels in industrial applications is the use of capacitive level switches. When the liquid or solid level around the probe of these level switches changes, the capacitance field varies. This change is used for monitoring and control purposes through two relays. Each relay includes full differential control, allowing it to activate or deactivate between two user-defined points on the probe. This functionality can be used to control pumps and valves between high and low levels. Additionally, standard time delays can be set to prevent false alarms caused by surface turbulence.
