When using a manifold valve, you can isolate the desired valve and redirect the flow without shutting down other defined instrumentation in the process. This allows maintenance to be performed without stopping the system or closing the process, while the system continues to operate seamlessly.

A three-way manifold valve is typically used for pressure and differential pressure transmitters. A standard three-way manifold valve consists of two block valves and one equalizer valve.
The primary application of a three-way manifold valve is for calibrating pressure transmitters. To check the zero point of the transmitter, close the block valves and open the equalizer valve.
Applications of Five-Way Manifold Valves
A five-way manifold valve is typically used for differential pressure transmitters. A standard five-way manifold valve consists of two block valves, one equalizer valve, and two vent or test ports.
The primary application of a five-way manifold valve is for calibrating transmitters. For 3-point or 5-point calibration, after equalizing the pressure, connect the test valve to a pressure generator.
This five-way manifold valve is the most common manifold valve used for differential pressure transmitters.
