Rotameter
A rotameter, or flow indicator, is used to display the instantaneous flow and operates based on the variable area technique for flow measurement. A common rotameter consists of a conical glass tube calibrated according to the flow of the material over time, and a conical metal float that rises inside the glass tube as the flow increases.
You have probably seen rotameters like these in hospital oxygen cylinders. In industry, rotameters are calibrated according to the fluid temperature, as well as the material's density, viscosity, and pressure. When selecting a rotameter, the following factors should be considered:
Ambient Humidity Meter
