Each rotation of the turbine, caused by the flow of the fluid, generates a series of pulses. By calibrating the device according to the flow rate and the number of pulses produced, the flow meter's range can be determined. \u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14px;\">Insertion<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14px;\">In this method, a rotor (or impeller) is inserted into the pipe through a hole in the pipe wall. As the fluid flows through the pipe, the rotor begins to rotate.
