Due to this property, when they sense heat, they exhibit different behaviors, which generates a voltage between the two metals. This voltage difference indicates the temperature. Depending on these temperature ranges, thermocouples come in different types, each with varying prices.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: right;\" class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;color: #000000\"><strong>RTD<\/strong> <strong>Temperature<\/strong> <strong>Sensor<\/strong> <strong>(RTD):<\/strong><\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px;color: #000000\">The Resistance Temperature Detector, abbreviated as RTD, is a temperature sensor that operates based on resistance. These sensors use a resistance that varies with temperature, and by measuring the change in resistance, the amount of temperature change can be determined.<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px;color: #000000\">In general, RTDs can be classified into <em>2-wire<\/em>, <em>3-wire<\/em>, and <em>4-wire<\/em> types. The 4-wire models are more expensive, while the 2-wire models have lower accuracy; therefore, 3-wire RTDs are more commonly used in industry.<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px;color: #000000\">RTD sensors are more accurate than thermocouple sensors, with a precision of about 0.1\u00b0C, and they also have faster response times.
