Couple gauge and diaphragm seal suitable for a temperature of -20°C
We are proud to announce that through repeated testing under the supervision of technical experts at Isatis Process Instruments, we have achieved a new capability: the production of couple gauges and diaphragm seals suitable for -20°C, manufactured domestically by our specialists.
This equipment is suitable for low-temperature processes (for phase change from gas to liquid).
Industrial method for gas liquefaction
Before we can liquefy many gases, they must be cooled below their normal temperature.
In industrial gas liquefaction, the Joule-Thomson effect is used to cool the gases.
Whenever a compressed gas is allowed to expand to a lower pressure, it cools down.
During expansion, work is done against intermolecular attractive forces.
The energy required to perform this work must come from the kinetic energy of the molecules themselves so the gas temperature decreases.
