The operating principle of this type of level switch is based on hydrostatic laws, and it uses a magnet to activate the switch without the need for any additional electrical power (magnetic snap action).
The density of the float must match the density of the fluid in the tank in order to float on the fluid surface.
When ordering, specify the type of fluid, density, pressure, and process temperature.
