A Pitot flowmeter, or Pitot tube, is a device for measuring fluid velocity. This instrument has two inlet ports: one aligned with the flow to measure total pressure, and the other perpendicular to it to measure static pressure. By measuring these two pressures and calculating the difference between them, the dynamic pressure can be determined.
