Temperature Transmitter

Temperature transmitters in terms of installation can be divided into two categories:

A temperature transmitter head (head mounted): Transmitter head temperature sensor placed inside the chamber of the head mounted type are known.

Temperature Transmitter Rail (rail mounted): placed inside the panel are mounted on rails that are known to rail mounted

Temperature Transmitter measure temperature by the temperature sensor such as the thermocouple or RTD which can be transferred to a standard quantity of turns. TRANSFER + METER transmitter combination of two words taken equipment that can measure a physical quantity (METERING) to place it away as transmission control room (TRANSFER) called the in the field of instrumentation equipment one of the physical parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, speed, surface or material inside the tank height, weight, and … to the standard signal such as 4 to 20 mA or 0-10  volts turns and the ability to send for two-wire loop signal or power to equipment can be electronic or pneumatic. In both cases, the signal is standard and equipment that are in LOOP control is understandable.

*active

Passive: Passive Transmitter which require external power supply for their operation is called passive Transmitter. They produce an output signal in the form of some variation in resistance, capacitance or any other electrical parameter, which than has to be converted to an equivalent current or voltage signal. In this case extra wiring for power measurement is not required and no need for a separate power transmitter connected to the output of which is fed through lines.

Active: this type of transmitter output signal is 4-20 mA which need to external power supply to working so this type of transmitter leads to savings in wiring and they do not take advantage of passive transmitter.
